Our History

The Group started in 1996 when Mr. Moeen Waheed obtained exclusive distribution rights to sell Walt Disney licensed products for Pakistan focusing on children tableware.

From its origin with just a few small-scale customers, the Group has evolved and grown to become one of the Pakistan's leading Food, Household, and luxury life style product businesses.

Key Milestones

1996
  • Obtained exclusive rights to sell Walt Disney licensed tableware in Pakistan.
1998
  • Obtained exclusive rights to sell Walt Disney licensed School Bags and Stationery in Pakistan
2000
  • Expanded its operations to include the capital Hub of Pakistan Market “Karachi. Established Karachi branch and Karachi based warehouse.
2002
  • Expanded to cities other than Lahore and Karachi. Metro cities like Islamabad, multan, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala were added.
2004
  • Get into the market of luxury items by obtaining exclusive distribution rights of world renowned brands “Royal Doulton” and “Wedgwood” now known as “WWRD”.
2005
  • One of the World’s most prestigious brand in its category “Rosenthal” and “Versace by Rosenthal” entered into our portfolio.
2007
  • Entered the business of “Hospitality” by obtaining the distribution rights of “RAK Porcelain”, “Carlisle” & “Pasabache.”
2008
  • Became the exclusive importer and distributor of “Lock & Lock” Korea, the world leader of air tight food containers and now the identity of our group which took us deep down to grass root level distribution and with this our company decided to further focus on mass market brands.
2010
  • Implemented SAP Business one, despite of our medium size organization to have full control of our operations and informative decision making. We were one of the first 10 companies to implement SAP in Pakistan.
2013
  • Achieved 100% growth in turnover and net profit compared to previous year. The growth resulted from increase in coverage of territories through sub-distributors and whole sellers.
2014
  • Launched “Lladro” and “Lalique” boutiques in Lahore and this was the beginning of direct retailing segment of the group.
2015
  • Company board decided to start import and distribution of FMCG products in the category of food and beauty. Thus launched the brand “Bikano by Bikenerwala” setting up a target of one thousand Point of Sales in the year.
